- Pangolins
-
- I wrote this games ages ago, on an A500+, and I never intended
- to release it, but certain people (Hi John!) persueded me to
- send it in :) Just drag the directory to wherever you want on
- your HD. You can play it straight from the CD, but you won't be
- able to save any games, obviously :)
-
- This is not your usual type game - there are no slimy aliens to
- blast, no problems to solve. I wrote Pangolins mainly to amuse
- my children, who seem to have endless imagination for this sort
- of game.
-
- Pangolins may take you some getting in to, depending on how weird
- your sense of humour is... My boys got into it straight away, which
- seems to say something about hereditary traits.. ;)
-
- The idea of Pangolins is to think of an animal, and see if the
- computer can guess it - that's about it, really! If the computer
- can't guess your animal, it will ask you to tell it a question that
- differentiates between its guess and your animal. Try to input an
- imaginative question - "Tell me the difference between a Seagull and
- a Duck" could be responded to by "Does it **** on Cross Channel Ferry
- passengers" for example... (OK - I told you about my sense of humour! ;)
-
- The fun comes in thinking up the most bizzare animals imaginable, and
- seeing the guesses the computer starts to throw out as you get into
- the game. If you want to keep a particular game, just save the files
- Data and QF somewhere other than the program directory, and move them
- back when you want to continue that game.
-
- The program is self-explanatory, but try continuing the game already
- provided - it may help to see that there are others far more insane
- than you!
-
- If you like it, or just want a chat, drop me a line at either of the
- addresses below.
-
- I hope you get some fun out of "Pangolins" :)
